We are looking back to an amazing weekend, with not only a first place in the GP Qualifier, but also in the GP itself!
Olivier’s first year in Wellington was immediately a great success. Together with the 10 year old gelding H&M Ikker, he triumphed over 53 fellow competitors and won the Grand Prix.
“I watched the first jump-off round, but decided to just go my own round and see where I ended up; luckily it was fast enough today. He turns very well in the jump-off, which is what makes him quite fast.”
What makes this win even more memorable? Olivier and H&M Ikker grew together into this stage. H&M Ikker arrived in our stables at the age of 7. So it was Olivier himself who brought him here and who worked hard, together with H&M Ikker towards these kind of competitions
