Olivier and H&M Legend of Love managed to move from the 13th place to the 4th after Final II in Paris. The pair produced a clear first round and rode a spectacular jump-off as well.
Good luck wasn't on their side on the first day, but it was on Friday the 13th. During Final I on Thursday, they had one down on the first fence. That's a bummer, of course. Anyway, they kept focusing and started on Saturday again as a motivated team. This time, their hard work paid off. Olivier and H&M Legend of Love rode two amazing clear rounds. Result? A 4th place !
"I am very satisfied with what we did today. I wanted to compensate for yesterday's mistake, and it worked. From the 13th to the 4th place, that's quite a big step. This is a good point to start with tomorrow. My ambition is just to keep this level and keep working like we did.", Says Olivier.
The World Cup final is a three-leg competition. The third competition will be held on Sunday and has two rounds, with the top 30 athletes returning for the first round. The 20 best-placed athletes following round one will move on to the second round and the athlete with the lowest number of penalties after all three competitions will determine the overall winner.
