2019
Anthony & All Right Du Genet, combination of the year

“But who is the best one of us? I think dad is still the best. He achieved a lot more than his sons. Dad also chooses which horse best matches with us. He knows us inside-out and is aware like no one else which traits of a horse would fit perfectly and which would not.”

And it’s clear that dad made the right choice for Anthony. In 2019, Anthony frequently puts himself in the spotlight, while riding All Right du Genet. Anthony also aims for succession of his name. Not only does he win the Great Prize in Gorla Minore, but on top of that he also wins the GP for juniors in Lamprechtshausen, riding All Right du Genet. His second GP-victory in just a few weeks. At the Belgium championship for juniors, he becomes sixth, again riding All Right du Genet. During the summer months, the duo also participates in the Europe championship. In September they run a double clear course in the Nations Cup final in Sentower Park. In Maastricht, they win the Big Tour and they conclude the year with a victory at the Grand Prix CSIJY-A in Mechelen.

2020
You're young and got some talent

Not the easiest year for any rider, in the middle of the corona crisis, with many shows being cancelled. However, whenever possible, Anthony takes his horses out to train and to jump competitions, “It was a special year with only the Belgian Championship to work towards, from home”.

And his hard work pays off. In the summer of 2020, Anthony and All Right du Genet secure a bronzen medal at the Belgian Championships for Juniors. On top, he concludes the summer with a second place in both the junior competition (Nancy 376) as well as the U25 (Jango S) at the Global Future Champions in Valkenswaard.

Nancy is a very fast horse and helps Anthony to win many classes, while Jango lifts his career up by getting him in the bigger classes.

2021
Belgian young talent on fire

In 2021, the Belgian Young Riders and Juniors really prove that our little country has a lot of potential. And for sure, Anthony shows that he’s one of them. In May, he grabs silver at the Dutch Youngster Festival twice. Once in the Juniors Grand Prix (J’Adore van het Schaeck) and once in the Juniors Nations Cup (Jango S).

When the whole family is represented at Knokke Hippique, Anthony shows that he really belongs to them by riding some fast and spotless rounds in the CSI 2*.

But then in July, Anthony and his brother Thibault set sail for the European Championships. Anthony fulfills a long-cherished dream by becoming European Champion with his Junior team. And as realistic and sympathetic as he is, the first thing he does after winning is thanking everyone around him, not only his teammates and grooms, but everyone around him making his career possible.

By November, Anthony rides the first championship with Calypso the Blondel at the Belgian Youth Festival. A budding relationship between the two of them, results in a third place anyway.
