The Stockholm Hearts team made their fans’ ultimate dream come true: they crowned themselves winners in front of the Swedish crowd during the LGCL Competition in Stockholm. The team completed both the first and second round faultless and did so in the fastest time.
In the first round, Olivier Philippaerts and Peder Fredricson and took the stage. Olivier rode his partner H&M Legend of Love to the finish in 72.30 seconds. Peder rode Hasson WL flawlessly through the course in both the first and second round. In the second round, Malin Baryard-Johnsson took Olivier's place for the team. She also rode a faultless and fast round in the saddle of H&M Indiana, securing victory for her team.
And the triumph doesn’t stop there. In the individual competition, Olivier claimed gold too. He delivered the fastest faultless round (68.40 seconds) with H&M Miro (by Diamant de Semilly). "Sweden is like our second home. We come here often, only because H&M is based over here, but we also have many fans in Sweden. That makes this victory extra special.”, explains Olivier.
Meanwhile, Thibault also made a mark in Stockholm. He made a remarkable start on Friday by clinching a victory in the CSIU25. Guiding Cap du Marais, he secured this triumph with a lightning-fast and faultless round in the Lövsta Future Challenge International. Not enough pride yet though, as they do it again on Saturday.
