Nicola and Olivier are back on track. This Thursday, they'll compete in Saint-Tropez. The twin brothers will stay in the South of France for the next three weeks, traveling from one show to another, amongst which a 5* Grand Prix next week. After more than three months, they're excited to compete again.
Last Tuesday, Nicola and Olivier packed their bags and left to Saint-Tropez. Not to chill at the beach, but to compete again. It's been a very long time since their last show and the Global Champions Tour in Doha. "Packing was not so hard.", smiles Olivier. "Being home is fine, but training without a goal gets a little tiresome. Mostly, we live in our bags and take one plane after another. Suddenly, from one day to another, it all stopped. I'm happy to start again tomorrow with Nicola. I'm looking forward to it. However, I realize that will be different. I'm glad that the organizers give us an opportunity to jump again with horses like H&M Extra. Let's hope they'll inspire other organizers as well."
Just like Olivier, Nicola takes some young horses to the South of France. Katanga is with him for the GP's. "Finally we can travel again, even if it's with the car.', says Nicola, "I've been looking forward to this moment. For the next three weeks we'll be doing what we like to do together with our horses. Thereafter, our agenda is still empty. Many organizers cancelled, a few are still in doubt. I hope that those in doubt have the power to push forward so that we can continue doing our sport the next months. I'm excited to get in the ring again.".
