Olivier and H&M Extra finished third in the Rolex Grand Prix in Rome. They rode two spotless rounds and had the third best time during the jump-off. Just two seconds to slow to beat winner Daniel Bluman (Ladriano Z) and one second to slow for Cian O’Connor (Ireniche Horta).
Olivier and H&M Extra look back at a prosperous weekend in Rome. On Friday they finished third in the Nations Cup as part of team Belgium. On Sunday, it all went smooth again as they rode two clear rounds, good enough for a bronze medal in the Rolex Grand Prix.
“I’m nothing but satisfied with our results from today and the past few days.”, smiles Olivier. “Extra jumped a very good and clear second round in the Nations Cup. It was an excellent preparation for today’s GP. H&M Extra leaks a little experience at this level, but jumped amazing anyway. A fifth place in Miami, now a third place in Rome, there certainly is a line in his performances. He’s only ten years old, his best years are yet to come. It’s up to me now to keep developing him and level up our performances.
