The final countdown…. For the last time this season, the London Knights go into combat in Global Champions League Super Cup. Tomorrow, the Prague Playoffs kick-off in the Prague O2 Arena.
The GCL Super Cup is spread over three rounds. A quarter-final on Thursday, semifinal on Friday, and the final combat on Sunday, held over two 1,60m rounds against the clock.
Olivier has a good feeling about the finals. “The Prague Playoffs is one of the highlights of the year. We’ve been working really hard to end in that top four. That means that we only start in the semifinals on Friday, which gives us one step ahead of the other eight teams.”, explains Olivier. “I think we have a good team, the best combinations will jump, our horses are definitely in shape, so everything is still possible.”. He takes Le Blue Diamond van 't Ruytershof to this combat.
But also Nicola is eager to start. “I’m riding for the London Knights with Katanga v/h Dingeshof. Emily Moffit joins us with Winning Good and Ben Mayer with Explosion. I hope we have a good weekend. This is a very important show, it would be great to end the year with a good result here. Anyway, our horses feel good at the moment, so we’ll see what happens.”.
For the first time, Ludo will not just go to Prague to cheer for his sons, but he’ll ride the Longines CSI 5* himself. He’ll jump with Mr. Idol S.
