While Thibault, Anthony and Stijn are still preparing for a new season in Oliva, Olivier kicks off his first big show of the year in Sweden.
Our youngest team members had a very good first week at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in Oliva. All three of them had some great results, with even a victory for Thibault and Lucky Luke van de Goedereede. They stay in Spain for two more weeks.
Olivier, on the other hand, travels to Sweden for the first CSI 5* of the year. He takes H&M Legend of Love, Cataleya 3 and Le Blue Diamond van 't Ruytershof to the Gothenburg Horse Show. He’s very motivated to get started. “I gave the horses the rest and preparation they needed in Oliva and feel ready to start. Gothenburg Horse Show is not the least to get started with. It’s a show with a special crowd and it’s even more special because it’s the country of our major sponsor, H&M.” says Olivier.
“The Gothenburg Horse Show is one you don’t want to miss out on as a rider, it’s one of the best of the year.", continues Olivier. "And it’s the start of a busy season. The Global Champions League is an important part of the season, just like the Global Champions Tour with H&M Legend of Love. But my main focus will be Tokyo with H&M Extra. We’ll have to do everything within our power to get selected. I’ll ride the Nations Cup shows with him and hopefully we can make it to the Olympic games in Tokyo.”
