2017 has almost come to an end, but before we cease the year, the Philippaerts – We Live Horses team will perform once again together. Together? Yes, you can take this literally. And that is exactly what makes Jumping Mechelen so unique for our team. Not only Olivier, Nicola, Thibault and Anthony will show off, also father Ludo will perform once again in the ring. Furthermore, our new rider Stijn Timmerman represents the team in the CSI 2*.
On Boxing Day, Ludo kicks off this extraordinary week in the Belgian Star Masters, where he will compete against other icons of the jumping world. His offspring will support him in and outside the ring. They will all perform in different classes, while Veronique keeps a close eye on it.
The ball is in the court of the younger generation now. The highlight of jumping Mechelen for them? That should be Olivier and Nicola’s participation in the World Cup on Saturday. This thrilling battle is not only the last battle of jumping Mechelen, but will also be the last competition of 2017. All together, we wave goodbye this wonderful year.
