Yesterday (Thursday night) Nicola saddled his companion Bisquet Balou C for the very last time. They rode a spotless clear round and finished 5th in the Léon Melchior CSI5* Open Sires of the World Zangersheide. For the 13 years old stallion there ain’t no better way to say goodbye.
Genetically anchored sire Bisquet Balou C is leaving our stables and moves to France to focus on breeding. Balou du Rouet and Philipa’s son (Polydor) Bisquet Balou C is a horse with high potential and so an approved stallion by BWP as well as Selle Français. His pedigree makes him super progenitor and he supplies many riders with a promising offspring.
With grandsire Baloubet du Rouet, a living legend and currently number one in the WBFSH ranking, there is no doubt that Bisquet Balou C will provide a successful offspring. Sire Balou du Rouet was self-victorious at the international level and the supplier of 5* winning jumpers as Balloon, Balzac, Balou's Herb, Baltimore, Baranus and many more.
“Bisquet Balou C moves to Groupe France Elevage”, says Ludo, “He’ll continue his career as a sire in France. On from next year, his fresh sperm will be available everywhere, also in Belgium. He absolutely is an amazing horse, but he didn’t show us everything he got yet. He’ll have a more significant impact on breeding.”.
